Maddy graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus, with her bachelors in Communication
Maddy started her career in Human Services with Zumbro House Inc. . She worked as a Program Director for several years after college and served individuals with Developmental Disabilities and or Mental Illness. After Zumbro House, Maddy moved to Brookings South Dakota to work with the Boys & Girls Club as the Teen Center Unit Director. She was then transferred to Yankton, South Dakota, where she served as the Interim Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yankton. While working in Yankton, Maddy worked closely with children with Developmental Disabilities, Autism, and families who were struggling with chemical dependency. She also oversaw the Teen Court Juvenile Diversion program for three counties. While she was passionate about her work with the Boys & Girls Club, Maddy was very excited to have moved back to the Twin Cities this summer and start her new position with Meridian!
Maddy enjoys all things outdoors in the summer and winter. Her favorites are downhill skiing in the winter and anything involving a boat in the summer. Maddy is a huge dog lover and currently has one dog named Remi, who is a “Cocker Spaniel Super Mutt” from Coco’s Heart Rescue. She is very close with her family and is originally from Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
